250 million years ago, a primordial sea covered what is now Punjab. As it evaporated, it left behind vast deposits of mineral-rich salt — today known as the Salt Range.
In Mianwali, our miners still carve this salt by hand, the way it has been done for centuries — no blasting, no chemicals, just skill and patience.
