Pink salt contains 84 trace minerals and no additives, anti-caking agents or bleaching — unlike heavily refined table salt. We don't make medical claims, but it is a purer, less processed product.

Colour varies naturally by seam — deeper seams have more iron oxide, giving a darker rose colour. We grade by colour so you get consistent product every time.

Our salt contains naturally occurring trace iodine but is not iodized. If your diet requires iodized salt, please consult your doctor.

Salt is hygroscopic — it absorbs moisture from humid air. This is normal. Leave the lamp on (the bulb's warmth evaporates moisture) and place it on a coaster.

Real lamps are never perfectly uniform in colour, feel slightly rough, and are surprisingly heavy for their size. Ours are hand-carved from solid Mianwali salt rock — no two alike.
